The Historic Redstone Boulevard looked a little different in the early 1900’s. Some of the same buildings still stand but they have many more stories to tell. Redstone was once home to a school, a playhouse, a laundry mat, and several other service shops. Times have changed, however, Redstone still has a number of quaint shops. It’s a magical way to spend some time browsing through antiques, local art & products, and unique gifts.
The Redstone Art Foundation hosts two annual events that bring local vendors, artists and artisans to Redstone. The Redstone Holiday Market in early December and it’s a great way to purchase unique gifts. The Labor Day Art Show brings local artists to a 3 day event on the grounds of the Redstone Inn. Yule Marble is the whitest Marble in the world used in many historical memorials, such as the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the Unknown Solider.
