Redstone Community Association RCA meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. (new meeting time!). at the Redstone Inn -- All are welcome!. RCA is a totally volunteer orgainization representing the heart beat of Redstone.

First Fridays in Carbondale celebrates the arts, shopping, dining and music from 5 p.m. on the first Friday of every month downtown.

Recycle in Redstone 1-3 p.m. every 1st Thursday and 3rd Friday of the month, behind the Redstone Fire Station. Glass, aluminum, plastics, cardboard, and now composting!

.Redstone Recycling is on the first Thursday and third Saturday of the month. Bring your recyclables to the Waste Management bin next to the Redstone Sewer Plant between 1-3 p.m.

May 1: 6 p.m. The Redstone Community Association board meets at the Redstone Inn. **Please note the new evening time.  The RCA invites you to come and get involved with your community.  New fresh ideas are always welcome.

May 3: 4:30 - 6 p.m. Rain Barrel Workshop hosted by Roaring Fork Conservancy and the City of Aspen -- Harvesting Aspen's Rainwater. Open to residents of Pitkin County, cost $40 includes one rain barrel. Pitkin County Library, Aspen. Registration is required! Sign-up today at

May 4: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Festival Las Americas. Sopris Park, Carbondale. The Festival is a celebration of the richness of culture and traditions of the American continents. The day will include cultural, artistic, and recreational activities for the whole family, plus live entertainment and a great variety of food styles representing the flavors of the Americas. Free.

May 4: 4 - 8 p.m. First Friday "Spring Into Fun" at THE FAMILY BLOCK PARTY at 4th Street Plaza. A variety of Carbondale organizations will be on site with great summer information and activities for kids and families! May 19: 10 a.m. Redstone Clean-Up Day. Meet at Redstone Inn, bring gloves and wear bright clothes.

May 19: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.Ride for the Pass, Independence Pass, Aspen. Extraordinarily scenic recreational or competitive 10-mile road ride starting in Aspen, Colorado and climbing 2,300 feet up Highway 82 toward Independence Pass along the Continental Divide BEFORE the highway is opened to cars for the season. The Ride benefits the Independence Pass Foundation's restoration work on the Pass.


June 2: Redstone Inn Kick-Off to Summer Party. Free swimming all day, food & drink specials and outdoor games. Live music on the patio starting at 4:30pm! 970-963-2526.
